Green Film Lab || Scotland

The workshop objective was met but attending the workshop actually made me realize that it wasn’t about learning about techniques or new equipment that would be more sustainable. It helped me re- evaluate our importance as producers. I was inspired by the workshop and have started to look differently at the development of the projects. Not only for the production/shooting but also in the story content and the influence we can have on audiences.

More praise for Green Film Lab

Thank you to the producers for sharing the production details with us. It was amazing how Thomas (our producer) tried to find sustainable solutions for the film. I hope we stay in touch and will continue to share knowledge.

Group sessions were very helpful and great to have an eco manager that could share their tips and experiences + someone from another production to give a different perspective on our work.

I think everyone of each expert had something to contribute to the workshop because everyone had a different background and/or expertise. I found very interesting and important all the subjects explained and how each expert brought them to us.

Green Film Lab was not only informative for green filming, but also creative, mostly because it succeeded to make everyone of us feel included as part of a team -the very same feeling (and objective) of a sustainability manager in a film set. I didn’t expect the approach on sustainability in screenwriting, which I found very useful.
