Unfold exhibits the work of over 20 artists who have participated in Cape Farewell expeditions in 2007 and 2008 to the High Arctic and in 2009 to the Andes. Each artist witnessed firsthand these dramatic and fragile environments aligned to human activity and made artworks that are both exciting and highly original. Unfold celebrates their work and the artists commitment to addressing, in some form, the underlying issues of climate change and the evolving human response towards a new narrative of symbiotic existence.
