Issue One – Position and Scale
Welcome to the first issue of ecoartscotland occasional papers. Our format is intended to grow a dialogue around a central issue to ecoart practices.
The three co-editors (David Haley, Anne Douglas and Chris Fremantle) have identified the theme of Position and Scale.
We have each written a short introduction. These have been put on-line first. We have then invited contributions from a number of other practitioners across a range of disciplines that intersect with art and ecology. These will be put online in the period August and September 2011.
We will then open the issue up for contributions from anyone interested in the issues we are raising. Contributions can be formal (sent to us for peer-review) or informal (simply added into the comment box on any page).
We will close the issue in December 2011 and at that point we will produce a pdf of the contents which will be available to download or through print on demand.
This will pin the issue down to a moment in time. Sometime in 2012 we will announce the next issue.
